Speaking of Myspace, that's actually the best place to jump this off. 2007 is the year I unexpectedly obtained popularity on the social media platform with my style and girly web designs, establishing a fan base in the process.

Growing up I was always sitting in front of a computer screen. I could be sleeping over at a friend's house and while everyone was partying, I'd be in the back on the computer until the sun came up trying to design banners in Print Shop Deluxe to hang up in my room or feeding my BlackPlanet.com addiction. It wasn't until the age of 21 that I learned people could actually make money online doing both of those – designing & social media – so I purchased my first domain, Amazinspace.com, in August of 2006 & launched my first Myspace resource website for free layouts & graphics at the beginning of the following year.

A year or 2 later, I renamed the site iRockstarz.com as an ode to how myself & the "it girls" I'd come to admire used our talent and creativity to organically cultivate a following. Followings that had previously only been reserved for public figures. It's funny now to think that we were influencers before “influencer” was even a widely used term like it is now.

Over the years as I state hopped taking up residence in many major U.S. cities, I decided to fall back operating more behind the curtain than in front of them. I still spend my days running multiple online businesses, blasting music over my ceiling speakers at ig'nant capacities & loving on the best family a girl could ever ask for. I've always wanted to run a blog more consistently than my previous ones but alas I couldn't be in all the places at all the times. Well this is that & it's now or never! 

The best thing about my endless endeavors online has always been Getting to connect with all of you! Whether you're male, female, gender-neutral, confused or undecided(haha!), I want us to rock so stick around & let's create the best versions of ourselves together!

Needless to say, my website was a huge success: THINK 10K UNIQUE VISITORS A DAY! Making money online, especially from something like ad publishing on a website where everything was free, was basically unheard of where I'm from.

Although I graduated in the top 3 of my high school class & obviously had the intelligence to pull something like that off, in such an unorthodox space I was a minority in every sense of the word:

With tech being a space that you'd be hard pressed to find black girls in any part of the world, much less Mississippi, there I was raking in easy cash at home from a HOBBY & making iBFFs with the coolest people on the planet!
