Baby, September got tf out of here like it had some place to be, right? So I noticed many top blogs do this series where they list the purchases of the month that they loved and I thought my glam squad(that’s you!) would appreciate it as well so here goes!
This month, the amount of money I’ve spent is obscene. Between home maintenance and Jeep-isms I saw dollars fly away for quite irritating – & some not particularly smart – but necessary expenses… Hey, plumber that fixed my running toilet when I could’ve purchased more whole ass brand new ones for the amount spent, I’m looking at YOU! Then there is the shopping I’ve done and still doing for my birthday in October.
On the bright side, I’m always grateful to be able, ya know?! So let’s get into a few of the things:
1. Pink Apple iPhone 15 Plus
$1029
Don’t threaten me with a pink iPhone, ok?! Bc I WILL fall for it! & true to form, I did. Honestly I didn’t even need a new iPhone. My 11 Pro Max is still in excellent condition. I’ve been team iPhone since the very first one was ever released and I’ve never felt the need to upgrade every drop… but ya know, someone says the word “pink” and I might as well be schoolgirl me again… 🗣️ judge your mom lol. I just hate that the pink wasn’t offered on the Pro Max but I do love that the Plus is lighter as my 11 Pro Max was quite straining on my poor little hands.
2. Peloton Bike +
$2495
So actually I made this Peloton purchase mid-August but I didn’t begin to love it until September. In fact, I strongly considered exchanging it for the treadmill bc I while I wanted to instantly love it and gave it the “Don’t kill me like you killed Mr. Big” talk before ever hopping on – “And Just Like That”/”Sex and the City” fans know what I mean – the Peloton Bike + was considerably and painfully unusable for me until I could make some adjustments. Those adjustments were an absolute GAME CHANGER though and I’m cycling for my life now!
3. Valentino Donna Born In Roma Perfume
$156
This is a fragrance I’ve actually used for over a year now but it was a gift from my Aunt Lynn from her own collection the last time I was in Chicago. Hilariously enough, I don’t even know for sure if I bought the right thing bc the bottles only say “Valentino”(she didn’t have the box anymore) so I just purchased the one that had the identical bottle. I could be delusional but smells like I grabbed the same one, though!
4. Nama J2 Juicer
$550
The price? Let’s just say the long-term benefits and 15 year warranty amongst other things will justify it for me. I love lemon water. As mentioned above my hands tend to get very strained and stressed these days and I literally and figuratively don’t have time to continue pushing down on my manual lemon juice squeezer every morning. Aside from that I have been spending a ridiculous amount of coin on cold pressed green juices in the store when I really can be making them at home & how else am I supposed to make my own celery juice? 😅
5. Glass Bottles for Juicing
$25
The aforementioned time constraints & need to “keep it cute while doing” prompted this purchase. It’s easier to stick to your health goals when you can have these things pre-packaged and ready to go.
6. Gold Hand Chain Bracelet
$27
Hello, hand candy! These are so so sexy & seductive to me and you can never have too many. The only other time I’ve got the same feeling about something covering the same area, it was the henna tattoo I got for Coachella 2016. Couldn’t tell me I wasn’t Rihanna lol!
