I remember a day I was a huge jewelry fan. Somewhere along the lines I realized just how comfy I was with “naked”. Not clothingwise but for example, I sleep on satin or silk pillowslips rather than buy bonnets or wear scarves. I stopped getting phone cases because not having one on it felt sexier in my hands lol. While I still love the “unrestriction” I’ve come to miss the razzle dazzle and there are some jewelry acquisitions I’ve been keen to acquire yet have been having a rough time hunting down the pieces.
Sellers on Etsy had all the things I wanted for sure but I’m one of those people that tends to get overwhelmed when presented with a slew of options and the shipping times were too far out when I needed them by my birthday so I hit a quick Google search and found what I needed from Kristin Cavallari’s Uncommon James brand… a recent rewatch of Laguna Beach this year led me to the casts’ IGs a few months ago to see what they are up to now and idk why I thought that Uncommon James was a kids clothing brand. I can’t even retrace the steps to how I got that notion but glad I was wrong and found everything I was in the market for!
What exactly was I in the market for, you ask? A hand chain which are also called slave bracelets, huggies on a chain, and rings I could stack. All gold and all unorthodox.. or shall I say “uncommon”?
To be fully transparent as always, I can only speak for the aesthetics of these pieces as I haven’t owned them long enough to know of the quality or durability. All I know is that they are absolutely gorgeous, definitely what I was looking for & are giving me exactly what I needed them to give!
I also loved the price point. I don’t mind splurging on pricier jewelry but if given the option, I’d rather not be Kim K crying as my diamond earrings sink to the bottom of the ocean because I def have a hard time not losing my pieces to the abyss lol!
