Oh em geeee wtf is uppp friends, fam, fans, supporters & humble lurkers!!! So here we are! Another day, another website opened. To all who are just discovering me or anything I’ve ever done, I’m Deandrea Wright & welcome to my new personal blog, Glamber Alert! I’ll start this off with a quick rundown of how this website came to be and what you can expect to see!
Obviously I’m no stranger to the internet or running websites. I’ve been working *ahem* getting paid to do what I love online for 15 years now! If you were a huge Myspace addict, you may remember me from the revolutionary platform as I ran a very popular Myspace resource website for free layouts & graphics to customize your profile with called iRockstarz.com. You can say I was an influencer before that word became a thing. If you’re new to me or just need a refresher, read my story! Flashback anyone? ↓
Since that time, I’ve been way more off the map & behind the scenes. I’ve dabbled in blogging but couldn’t fully commit due to my various other internet ventures but it’s now or never!
So this is my latest labor of love! No really, it’s little hearts in my eyes every time I type in my website addy bc the way I designed it is so calming, so ‘Chella, & so the essence of me!(idc how grown I am, if I create a blog, pink will somehow be involved, ok?! lol) I’ve been working on this & 1 other website for so LONG. I have never put this much work & time into designing a site of mine & I am beyond excited about the possibilities and the opportunities I’ve been presented with. Those opportunities needed a place to be housed as we all know social media websites, their ever changing algorithms and their overall tripolar tendences aren’t fully reliable.
Anywho to the good stuff!
I’m always bursting with ideas, gems, product recommendations and life hacks that I scatter at random when I shoulda-coulda-woulda created a one stop shop to find it all. One of the things I’ve always been exceptional at is writing. Social media posts that are meant to be consumed in quick bite sized pieces are great for what they are but sometimes you just need more.. space. So this is that!
I’ll be keeping you posted on the latest sales and slurgeworthy effects, brilliant finds for your home, closet & life altogether, and gift ideas for your loved ones. On top of that, we’ll be sipping, cooking, traveling, & unapologetically cultivating the lives we dreamed of as kids together. It’s my passion to reignite the sparks in people that they may have lost with age and circumstance. It’s something I can say thankfully say has never happened to me and I’ll be showing you why.
What’s happening in my life now?
I still & hopefully always will do the internet thing. I’m currently living in Mississippi again on my family’s country estate. Those of you that have followed me over the years know that after living in Chicago, Orlando, Houston, Toledo & Memphis for years at a time, I’m not hard pressed to be permanently planted. I’m still single and kid free so the possibilities are still endless! Once a cyberhustler, always a cyberhustler!… speaking of which: I’m opening a website alongside this one called thecyberhustler.com where I’ll be helping you guys to use your passions to create a living online bc who doesn’t want to get paid to via passive income streams doing what they love?! I spend my days designing, branding, dreaming, shopping online, loving on my family, & renovating this house that was originally built by my grandfather for my mom a few years before I was born. All the while, blasting Deftones or APC at festival decibels out beyond the woods where I don’t have to worry about anyone calling the po po to complain because we’re all Purnells back here and so spaced out! It’s honestly a whole vibe when you have the option to get out in the mix & turn tf up as needed then return to your own little world. The only thing I have to b!tch about out here is how far away civilization is when I need to grocery shop and the seasonal pests/wildlife outside. I am perfectly placed despite the fact that I never thought I’d move out here.
If you’ve been rocking with me since day 1, I love and appreciate you so much. I mean that with my WHOLE heart! Here’s to another era of glowing up together! Now let’s have some fckn funnnn! ♡
